Hey,

I just wanted to thank you and tell what a great ceremony that was.  I have had many compliments...lots of folks said it was the best wedding they ever attended, and many people have asked for a copy of the ceremony.

I had one comment from a long time friend that I wanted to pass along.  She said that she wished you had stayed for a while after the ceremony...she felt that you had so much to offer and she wished that she could have talked with you.  That is a high compliment indeed, and you impacted many people in a positive way on June 21st.
 Thanks again!

Dear Kayelily,

Thank you so much for performing the wedding ceremony for Andrea and Jeff. We found it quite moving as did all those in attendance. It was especially meaningful to them and created a memory they will cherish always.

 Thank you,

Kay,

There are no words that Mary and I can think of that would describe how happy we are about having you marry Jen and Martin. Having a friend and a connection to both our lives and heritages conduct this celebration is a sign that fate is truly guided.

All we heard at the reception was about how "perfect" the ceremony was. Our take on that is that is was truly spiritual, meaningful, heartfelt, sincere, trusting, warm, funny, caring, "blah, blah, blah---" (only referring to how efficient your rehearsal was without removing the relevance of what was to come...).

You are indeed 'ordained' to give meaning to people who want and need to care about each other. How better friend could any one person have than to be able to say, you and I  knew and cared for each other then, (40 some-odd years ago) and we still know and care for each other today; you and Mary know and care for each other even today and we are all sharing in passing that love and caring on to our kids, who get it.

Kay, Mary and I are blessed with having you sanctify the love and marriage of our Jen and Martin. Thank you and we will forever be grateful.

Reverend Kayelily notes:
It was a thrilling moment and will be a lifelong memory in my life to officiate the ceremony for Jennifer, the daughter of Dave and Mary. Dave and I graduated from high school together in Cedartown GA many years ago. Mary and I work together during the week in the same agency.

Dear Kayelily,

How do you thank someone who has given you the greatest gift of all—the gift of becoming husband and wife? I have been struggling to find the words. I feel like I have heard your name practically all my life. The connection you have had with my dad [friends in high school], and then my mom [work together], made the wedding all the more special. Everything met and exceeded all of my childhood dreams. It was just perfect. Thank you so much for helping us have such a beautiful ceremony. Thank you so much.

 Love,

Jennifer

Dear Kayelily,

Thanks so much for the beautiful ceremony. It was perfect!

hilarie_and_bret_2.jpg (28004 bytes) Dear Rev. Kayelily,

I thought the ceremony was just so beautiful, and you did a wonderful job. You were so natural and gentle, and Hilarie and Bret said their vows so well...so clearly and sincerely. I loved it all, and much of it is thanks to you. I really appreciated your kind and gentle ways. I had the ceremony augmented and a CD of the entire ceremony produced as a gift for Bret and Hilarie....music, readings, and all. It is such a wonderful treasure for them.

Thanks again for doing a great job on August 9th.

Most sincerely,
Mary Jane--mother of the bride

Wedding at Duke Chapel

Dear Kayelily,

We want to thank you for the beautiful ceremony and for everything you did to make our special day happen! You did a fabulous job! Our family and friends are still talking about the ceremony. Thank you also for recommending St. Mark’s Chapel. It seems as though it was meant to be the way it all worked out. We are very happy.

Love, Maria and Travis

Maria and Travis’ wedding was originally scheduled for September 21st at Outer Banks, but it seems that Hurricane Isabel had other plans for them. Determined to get married that weekend, they called Kayelily on Thursday the 18th to see if she could officiate a wedding somewhere in Raleigh that weekend. The search for a new site and the ceremony creation proceeded at “hurricane” speed and they had a wonderful wedding, flip flops and all, just as if they were at the beach!

Dear Kayelily,

Bruce and I are now back from our honeymoon and getting into our daily routine. We had a wonderfully fun and relaxing week!

I want to pass along that I got several compliments on the wedding ceremony and wanted to thank you for all your guidance in getting us through this special event. I loved the final ceremony, and even through my tears, I was still aware of what was happening. I had hoped to not cry during the ceremony, and was truly calm and at peace that whole day until I took my brother's arm.

But despite the tears, I really enjoyed the ceremony and special day overall. I will cherish the words you, Bruce and I spoke.

Also, thank you so much for the pictures you sent! Thank you also for the handkerchief. I'll keep that specially too.

Most of all, thank you for being part of our special day! We were delighted to have you officiate.

All the best to you in the future.
