Kayelily,

I hardly know how to begin to thank you for setting such a lovely tone of dignity and majesty for Olivia and Matt’s ceremony. You guided them beautifully toward expressing the sentiments they wanted to declare, and both families appreciated so much hearing the specific names of beloved grandparents spoken clearly and with reverence.

But perhaps what I appreciated most was your calmness and composure, which was like a mantle laid over us to keep us focused and soothed.

Matt’s mother, Judy, listened very attentively to the hand-blessing portion of the service, and said it recalled to her something I had written to her when our children first became engaged. Early on in their relationship, Paul and I went to Atlanta to meet Matt, at Olivia’s request. Our first sight of them together was indelible: the two of them were sitting at an ice cream shop table, holding hands firmly. Matt held his head up so proudly, and seemed to be sheltering Olivia. The two of them had a look of unity even then, and I knew right away this was for real. I’m so glad you captured the significance of their hands, and I’m so glad Judy was sensitive enough to share her thoughts about it with me. We both felt a little bound to each other in that moment. So in this instance, the hand-blessing ceremony was extremely significant to us all.

If Vanessa and Jack so choose, I hope they will see their way to you, too, when they begin to plan their wedding.

 Our most sincere thanks, Kayelily.

Hi Kayelily,

Seamus and I want to thank you for such a beautiful ceremony.  After rain threats and the implementation of our Plan B, it ended up to be gorgeously dry with a gray sky which I think was romantic!  The new location turned out to be prettier than the Pergola would have been in my opinion!  I don't think there was a dry eye out there among our family and friends and much of that is due to your help in creating the touching and true words that were spoken.  Also, thanks for your hanky although I had to place it back on your book because I couldn't find a place to put it when we took hands for the ring exchange!  Hope it didn't trip you up and it seemed it didn't!  : )

We survived the earthquake in Hawaii during our honeymoon and are now back on the mainland and enjoying marital bliss.

 Take care and thanks again!
Love,
Ellen Byars Gibney

Hi Kayelily!

Thank you so much again for conducting such an incredible ceremony.  So many people said it was the best they had ever seen, and honestly, I know this to be true.  Thank you.  It was beautiful.

Kayelily,

Thank you so much for officiating at our wedding. Thanks for sending us all your wonderful ceremonies and helping us put together the perfect one for us. So many guests commented on how beautiful it was! We really could not have asked for a more perfect ceremony. Thank you so much!

Kayelily –

I want to thank you again for all of your help with our ceremony.  We got so many compliments on the words that you used and the fact that we were able to include our son Shane.  You definitely made our wedding one to remember, I don’t think there was a dry eye in the butterfly house.

I was also wondering, if you wouldn’t mind, if you could send us the final copy of the ceremony that you used, I know you added some additional words for Shane to pour his sand, and I would love to have that version to keep in our scrapbook.

Thank you again,

Michele Reynolds
