About your wedding ceremony... Your wedding can be large and formal with all the frills or a destination wedding that does not break the bank! No matter how casual or formal you want your wedding ceremony, you want a professional job. It is, after all, one of the most important and memorable days in your lives. Reverend LeeAnn is an experienced ordained non-denominational minister and has performed weddings for several years and would love to work with you to make your dream wedding come true! Reverend LeeAnn will guide you through the wedding ceremony and bring a friendly professionalism to your wedding. Each wedding ceremony is customized for each couple and Reverend LeeAnn encourages her couples to make their wedding ceremony uniquely theirs. She has many wedding ceremony scripts for couples to choose from and modify as they like. Some wedding ceremonies have more of a religious approach, some more spiritual, and some are civil/secular without reference to religion. Many wedding ceremonies recognize that a marriage is not only a bond between two people but also creates a union between two families. Many couples choose to have the Unity Sand Ceremony in their wedding ceremony. This is a variation on the Unity Candle as the couple join their sand together in this natural setting. If the bride and groom have children, they can be included with a family unity sand ceremony. On your initial conversation with Reverend LeeAnn, she will get a feel for the type of wedding ceremony you want and will email to you a few choices for your review. You can edit the wedding ceremony to fit you and cut and paste from more than one wedding ceremony if you like. The Process is Simple... 1. Book your wedding date with Reverend LeeAnn by clicking here. 2. Choose (and edit) your wedding ceremony from the choices that Rev. LeeAnn sends you. 3. Get your marriage license up to 60 days before the wedding date and be sure to bring it to your wedding ceremony. 4. Use the other links on this site or your own resources to arrange other wedding services such as flowers, catering, and photography. It is important to reserve your wedding date on Reverend LeeAnn's calendar well in advance, especially if you will be saying your vows in the most popular wedding months of June and July or around a holiday. Keep in mind that you can marry any day of the week and surround your wedding and honeymoon with a relaxing week at the beach with family and friends, or just the two of you, if you choose. Rentals at Holden Beach, Sunset Beach, and Ocean Isle Beach run from Saturday to Saturday, with a few renting from Sunday to Sunday. Feel free to plan your wedding any day of the week--Reverend LeeAnn is happy to accommodate. Many couples choose to marry on a Sunday or Monday after family and guests have had time to settle in. Some choose mid-week to give time for preparation before the wedding and celebration with family after.
To be married in North Carolina, a couple must get a marriage license from any county Register of Deeds office in North Carolina. A marriage license is good for 60 days. There is no physical exam, blood test, or residency requirement. The marriage license must be in possession of the officiant at the time of the ceremony for your marriage to be legal. Click here to find out more details about obtaining your marriage license before your wedding and getting certified copies after your wedding.
Promise yourself that you will enjoy every minute of your Wedding Day! Give your marriage license to the most responsible person at your wedding to give to Reverend LeeAnn. She will guide you through the wedding ceremony and pronounce you thoroughly hitched! She will make sure your witnesses do their legal duty signing the license and she will mail it in to the issuing county register of deeds. You are free to enjoy your new commitment!
